| FLOWERS FOR YOUR FINGER! What a sweet, lovely example - IF YOU LOOKED HERE BEFORE YOU KNOW I WAS FOOLED !!!! THIS RING, WHILE LOVELY IS LATE VICTORIAN RATHER THAN GEORGIAN -- the mark I couldn't read should have been my clue -- We did figure it out and it is 585 -- also, the shank is slightly heavier than it should be all the rest of the description is correct -- This "LITTLE GARDEN" GIARDINETTI ring is intricately carved and pierced 3 color metal -- the ring and "stems" are rosey gold, the rubies are set in bright yellow gold flowers and the rose cut diamonds are in silver leaves -- delicate but virtually no sign of wear on the ring or even the back of the shank -- 4 rose cuts - two rubies that are a nice deep ruby red -- one ruby has a surface blemish, but I think it may be a natural that was always on the stone -- the top of the ring is about 12mm tall and 17 mm across the top -- ring size 6 1/2 to7 ( it is not perfectly round) -- don't miss this little treasure - please check the photos | ||
