PASTE EARRINGS --THESES ARE FROM A SMALL COLLECTION OF ANTIQUES JEWELRY FROM A NEW ENGLAND ESTATE --almost 2 1/4 inches long -- clear paste at the top - each stone has a black spot of paint at the bottom to simulate the open culet of early diamonds - ending in a LARGE about 3/4 inch diameter orange paste -- almost the color of Madera Topaz or Mexican Fire Opal -- the earrings are screw backs with a long wire hook that goes over the ear -- I've seen this before on screwback earrings -- they help distribute the weight and also act as a safety --- absolutely wonderful earrings | ||
