| I was thrilled with this find!!! - from a "door knocker" to me right out of the house !! An approximately 11 X 13 mm high dome cabachon amethyst is carved with the full figure of a naked man ( probably Apollo )draped in a cape & playing a lyre type instrument -- extremely well carved and is superb condition --the stone is probably Graeco -Roman Circa 1st Century B.C. -- it is set in a 14K , probably early 20th Century ring -- size approximately 7 1/2 -- please check the photos and feel free to email questions | |
