THIS LOOKS LIKE IT WAS USED BY THE JETSONS -- OR A MINIATURE JETSON BUS !!! Fabulous sterling silver with small areas of green enamel on the antenna looking handle --- inside is a black ceramic dish for the butter ( to put in the fridge to keep the butter cool) - marked TOWLE STERLING -- the condition is pristine -- it's from a Connecticut estate - An example of this same piece is in the Jewel Stern Collection of Modernist American Silver in the Dallas Museum of Art - please check the photos
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS -- even used as background for graphics or lamp shades this paper is unbelievable !!! It was for the local estate of the former Ambassador to Japan right after WW II -- it is super thin slices of various corks applied to gilt paper -- the warm earth tones and antique gold are very attractive -- there are 2 double rolls -- one is in the original shipping packaging -- the other is unwrapped and has a few inches of roughness -- the wallpaper store that sold this in the 60's ...click for details
Probably more celluloid - but bakelite with a small B -- whatever plastics were used, the design of this ring is extra special -- 5 colors !! gold plastic! WHAT A WONDERFUL MODEL !!! I'D LOVE THIS HOUSE MYSELF!!! The roof comes off to show a well detailed interior with moving shoji -- the outside is exquisitely done -- back yard has attached out house !! -- LOTS OF DETAIL!!!! The base is about 12 X 14 inches -- about 10 inches tall -- I put on lots of pictures -- please take a look!!! I think it's around the 30's, but could be earlier

Beautiful grain -- leather drum heads are lacquered black with gold highlights -- some slight rubbing at edges -- 6 1/2 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches at the widest
