Wayne L Davis (1906 - 1988) was most famous for his paintings of aircraft for Grumman Aviation -- he also did landscapes, etc , especially once he retired from Grumman -- We bought some paintings from his estate back in the 80's and I just found this one in the "mess" -- it is from his studio apparently playing or experimenting with abstract art --- overall size is 11 1/2 X 8 3/4 inches --- signed upper right -- painted on the back of a watercolor landscape --- nice piece by this C ...click for details
