I KNOW -- I SAID COOL -- BUT IT IS ! 24 inches long -- hand made and a very good Modernist design -- my slight obsession with techniques is showing here -- But this is a most unusual chain -- the jeweler has taken wire and flattened the ends like in so many period chains -- this time he or she bent them to form the figure 8 then drilled the ends and strung them together with a round wire link -- great look and lots of movement -- this piece can stand alone or as the chain for a period pendant - ...click for details

ATTRIBUTED actually but we've had this design in a sterling bracelet several times -- Tasha made original pieces and then made molds and cats limited editions -- by the time the piece is cleaned up and polished, there may be no trace of the mark --- for those of you that know us, you know that we did a lot of business in Provincetown in the 1970's and are pretty familiar with the work --- this ring is 1 1/2 inches long -- ring size about 8 but easily sized since no stones are involved -- ...click for details

$125

Beautiful large scale brooch with super workmanship -- the approximately 3 1/4 X 2 inch brooch holds an onyx that is about 5/8 inch across --- another feature is the piece of reticulated silver -- beautifully made -- this random bumpy casual piece is the final result of an extremely complicated process and not that easy to master -- It was used by jewelers such as Faberge to make interesting silver objects --- with all that, this jeweler is another of the frustrating ones who didn't see fit ...click for details

Lovely, beautifully crafted very wearable necklace -- made of wrought silver units hinged together with silver rings -- elegant and simple design --- yes if you can't tell. I really like this piece -- about 15 inches long -- but it can easily be made longer with a small piece of chain in the back -- just to be frustrating, there are NO MARKS on the piece -- don't you just want to strangle these silversmiths that didn't sign their good work ??? Anyway, please check the photos and feel ...click for details
