These classically beautiful Mexican earrings are marked Taxco Sterling with the Damaso Gallegos monogram. They are rectangular in shape (5/8"x7/8") with bold triangular notches top and bottom and moveable oval rings to drape the sides.Very similar, if not identical, to a bracelet design by Hector Aguilar. They have age appropriate screw backs.

Sleek, triangular shaped sterling earrings by John Lewis. These very wearable sterling earrings have a great polished 70's Danish look. John Lewis opened his first shop in 1955 and has been on Newbury Street in Boston since the 70's. Crossed J L mark and 'sterling' on the back of the earrings which measure approx. 3/4"x3/4"x1". Screw backs are also marked 'sterling'.

We've had a lot of Austro Hungarian Victorian jewelry but never a lorgnette - super quality about 5 1/2 inches long not including the bail -- multi color enamel - pearls and emeralds on the front -- engraving on the back -- the top jump ring is marked with a WM and two indistinct marks -- spring loaded glasses come out when a button is pushed -- all working well -- the lenses are weak magnfiers -- please check the photos and feel free to email questions
