very classy links !! just under 1 inch across - the stone is a Jasper called Swiss Lapis in beautiful shades of blue -- each link has a beautiful classical head in 18K gold -- the bar is the old clip style - the backs are elongated ovals -- all in super condition -- each piece has a French eagle head touchmark --- These were purportedly made for the author James Jones (1921 - 1977) FROM HERE TO ETERNITY -- please check the photos

Brown leather looking fitted box is edged with gold & black -- inside is bright purple velvet hoding 3 oval moss agate studs --Moss Agate was highly prized in the early 19th century - these are originally from a Boston Jeweler - looks like CROSBY & MORSE but it's hard to read -- the studs are about 8 X 11 mm -- a really excellent antique set of shirt studs!
